The decoration at Ashcroft Gardens was simply delightful. Every corner of the B&B was filled with charming antiques and beautiful artwork, which added a touch of elegance to the overall ambiance. The general areas, such as the cozy sitting room and the inviting dining area, were well-designed and perfect for relaxing or socializing. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. There were no stairs to climb, and the pathways were clear and easy to navigate, making it a comfortable stay for someone like me.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have more assistance available from the staff. While the children working there were friendly and helpful, there were times when I could have used a little more support, especially with heavy suitcases or getting in and out of the pool.

Liked the way my double room was arranged with the most delicious breakfast, beautiful garden patio, a big TV. An electric kettle, a washing machine, and glassware were very handy. The staff were EXCELLENT and wonderful and the location was unbeatable to the main town centre. Plus, it was very close to a very tranquil, and a beautiful beach.

Our recent stay at Ashcroft Gardens was absolutely delightful. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts Sally and Gavin, who treated us like family. The spacious rooms overlooked a beautiful garden, and the ensuite had all the amenities we could ask for, including cozy dressing gowns. The bed was enormous and incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were so good that we want them for our own home. Breakfast was a treat, with a variety of fresh fruit, muesli options, and a delicious hot cooked meal prepared by Sally. The location, just 10 minutes from town, was convenient, and we felt like we were staying in a home away from home. We can't wait to return to this gem of a bed and breakfast!
We highly recommend this hotel.

The location was fantastic for the event we were attending. It was a short walk to the garden, supermarket, and restaurants, and there was a winery nearby. The hosts were excellent and we enjoyed drinking coffee in the evening.

They provided a shuttle service to and from our event, which was incredibly convenient. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options. the poolside room was spacious and private.
The room we booked was smaller than expected and lacked sufficient space for our belongings. We also encountered cleanliness issues, which made our stay uncomfortable.

The hosts were absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The rooms were spacious and the garden view was stunning. The ensuite had everything we needed, including fluffy robes and towels for the pool. The bed was massive and incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were so good that I wanted to take them home. The breakfast was a delightful surprise, with a variety of fresh fruits, muesli choices, and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. The location was just a short taxi ride away from the town center, but it felt like a home away from home with all the comforts. I can't wait to go back and highly recommend this place to everyone. The hosts were awesome, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
